Early Rewards Program

Please make sure you have read this FAQ before submitting a #support-ticket in our Discord server.

Disclaimer: This Early Rewards Program is not directed at retail clients, it is directed only at sophisticated investors. Dealing in cryptoassets is high risk, and all capital used to participate is at risk of being lost.

The Early Rewards Program is not available to persons in the USA, China, or other restricted territories.

In the UK, the Early Rewards Program is directed only at persons who fall within an exemption to the restriction on financial promotions as set out in the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Financial Promotion) Order 2005, such as investment professionals (Article 19); high net worth companies, unincorporated associations etc (Article 49); and sophisticated investors (Article 50). Altitude.fi is an experimental protocol and you may lose all of your assets due to one of many reasons such as a bug, hack or an exploit.

1. How many tokens are being distributed?

50,000,000 ALTI tokens (5% of our total token supply) are going to be distributed to early adopters of the protocol to reward them while we build.

2. How do I enter and what are the entry requirements?

To start accumulating ALTI, all you need to do is deposit wstETH into our Vault. The Vault is currently Whitelist-only and has a minimum deposit of 1 wstETH.

To get Whitelisted, please head to our Discord server where our friendly team is sharing instructions.

To deposit into the Altitude.fi Vault after approval, you need to convert your native ETH to wstETH (if applicable) via @LidoFinance:

Restricted persons

The following persons are excluded from the Early Rewards program:

  • Any person (natural or legal) or territory that is the subject of economic sanctions or other trade or export restrictions, including but not limited to those imposed or administered by the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Singapore, or the United Nations.

  • Any person (natural or legal) that is a US person, Chinese person, Canadian person, or Singapore person.

3. Why do I need to convert my native ETH to wstETH in order to join?

Our first Vault accepts wstETH as supply to benefit from Lido’s staking yield.

By facilitating wstETH, users can potentially benefit from higher yields and increased flexibility in their positions.

4. Why is the minimum entry set at 1 wstETH?

Setting a minimum entry requirement of 1 wstETH has several benefits for users:

  1. Maintenance of Protocol Stability: The Vault is still in Closed Beta as we test the user interface and remediate bugs. A higher minimum deposit can help to ensure the stability of the protocol by preventing excessive volatility caused by small deposits.

  2. Prevention of Spam or Abuse: We want to build a healthy, democratised community that will, in the future, form part of the protocol’s DAO and be instrumental in its direction. A minimum entry requirement can somewhat deter spammers or malicious actors from creating multiple accounts to manipulate the protocol.

If you hold less than 1 wstETH and would like to support Altitude.fi in building the future of DeFi, which we always appreciate, join us in Discord and follow us on Twitter to keep up to date with exciting news.

5. Will I be able to see how many ALTI tokens I have accumulated?

Yes, you can see how many ALTI tokens you’ve accumulated via the user interface at app.altitude.fi

6. What is the calculation for this?

Participants of the program are gaining tokens on a per-block basis. There are roughly 7,200 blocks in a day. So if we are allocating 40,000 tokens per day, that's roughly 5.55 ALTI tokens per block. The ALTI tokens will be allocated across all participants per block, issued to each participant as a percentage of the total pool.

If you withdraw your deposit, you will accumulate tokens up until the last full block you had an active stake.

7. What is the release schedule of tokens across this program?

50,000,000 tokens will be accumulated by participants of the program in total up until 1 September 2025. The release schedule is dynamic and will increase alongside total deposits, starting at 40,000 tokens per day.

8. When will the ALTI token be distributed to Early Rewards Program participants?

We will share this information with the community when we have finalised the distribution mechanics.

The way in which we will distribute ALTI is dependent on both the number of depositors, and therefore active wallet addresses, and engineering resources.

9. What are the risks of entering the program?

Due to the potential for losses, this investment is high risk.

What are the key risks?

1. You could lose all the money you invest

  • The performance of most cryptoassets can be highly volatile, with their value dropping as quickly as it can rise. You should be prepared to lose all the money you invest in cryptoassets.

  • The cryptoasset market is largely unregulated. There is a risk of losing money or any cryptoassets you purchase due to risks such as cyber-attacks, financial crime, and firm failure.

2. You should not expect to be protected if something goes wrong

  • ALTI isn’t recognised as a sort of investment that is protected by any compensation scheme.

  • There is no ombudsman able to consider complaints related to this ALTI.

3. You may not be able to sell your investment when you want to

  • There is no guarantee that investments in ALTI can be easily sold at any given time. The ability to sell a cryptoasset depends on various factors, including the supply and demand in the market at that time.

  • Operational failings such as technology outages, cyber-attacks, and comingling of funds could cause unwanted delays and you may be unable to sell your cryptoassets at the time you want.

4. Cryptoasset investments can be complex

  • Investments in cryptoassets can be complex, making it difficult to understand the risks associated with the investment.

  • You should do your own research before investing. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
